Alice In Wonderland

So to my few loyal fans who have stuck by me, first and foremost I must apologize for my serious lack of blogging. School and family drama has really put a damper on my life. I feel good, my work this last semester was really strong and I went through my first B.F.A review and I did fantastic. I had six classes this semester and am still waiting on a grade, but it looks like another straight A term. Well before I start to ramble, I'll just get to the point. Thank you who ever is looking at my blog...it means a lot, and if there is something that strikes your fancy and you might want to purchase it, I think we can work out a deal....so here without any further delay. My Art...

So here is my first project. I started this over the summer break. Anyone who knows me, knows I love Alice in Wonderland, it's my favorite childrens book. I wanted to make it more dark and dangerous, so I thought of Wonderland being completely taken over by the Queen of Hearts and how she has seriously lost her mind and is not only taking heads but eyes as well. So I redesigned some of the icon characters. I mounted it on a 2ft. X 3ft. panel. I covered it in pages from the book and hand died paper using coffee and tea, to get that aged appearance.
 The Dodo
 The White Rabbit
 The March Hare
 The Griffin
 Wonderland's Title
 The Caterpillar
 White Roses Painted Red
Some Victims of the Queen of Hearts
 The Queen of Hearts
 Bleeding Flowers, that could Speak

 The Base

 The Final Product
Doorways Mounted to Give the Viewer A Glimpse into what Wonderland was.
 And what Wonderland is Now.
