Card Series...Part 2 of my Babies

These cards are one of my greatest masterpieces. I did a total of 54 cards and almost went mad as I made them. These set me apart from the other students, (ego aside and no exaggeration) I got two rounds of applause. I was very pleased with how these came out. I have nothing to hide and am not ashamed out my work. So the suits are laid out as such, Hearts are gore, Spades are Bears (Gay term), Clubs are Drag Queens, and Diamonds are Bondage and S&M. These got a lot of stares, both good and bad, and I honestly enjoyed both.

Entertainment Posters...Part 1 of my Babies

These four posters took me a while and I am very very very happy with them. I love how they came out.

The Show Must Go On

So this is a lithography stone, that I drew on so I could get unlimited prints from. The writing is in French and it's backwards so it will print the correct way. It says "le spectacle doit continuer" which means "The Show Must Go On". I was really pleased with the outcome. I will post an image soon of the final product. I printed it over a hot pink background...it was glorious.

Masked Death

This was a piece that went in a collection, it's titled "Masked Death" because the man in the mask is the angel of death, snipping the umbilical cord of life, connected to a clock. The time is up. The cat is his pet watching the sad process.

Man-Bat

This was a project I had to do for my Illustration class. So I stretched my wings a little and dipped into full color.

Self Portrait with Ruffles

This piece I was really excited to do, it made me feel more free as an artist.

I Know It's About Time...

Things have been pretty crazy the past few semesters. First of all I've made the Deans List for the past two semesters, with a 3.8 GPA. I've worked my butt off for that and I hope that I continue to do good. From my understanding, after next semester I will have my B.F.A. (Bachelors of Fine Art), then all I need is my teaching credential and it is off to finding a job at a high school. So as of now I've got a good amount of work, but I feel that I should warn you. The focus of my more personal work has evolved from my sexuality. I decided that I wanted to do work that spoke about me, what intrigued me, and some of the work may make others unsettled. So take this as your final warning. So this is one of the pieces that got a lot of attention, titled "Heart on A String". This piece I was really happy with how it came out.

Christmas 2012

So these were my Christmas gifts to my Mom and Dad.
For my Mom I painted the Wicked Witch of the West with her flying monkey.

And for my dad I painted my first semi turck...
